FREE Chocolate Covered Strawberry Amigurumi by Amiguria
You will need:
•Yarns of your choice (100gms)
•3.5mm crochet hook
•stitch marker (to end rounds)
•tapestry needle
•little bit of fiberfill for stuffing
Chocolate Covered Strawberry
R1- (With Brown color) Sc 6 on Magic Ring: 6
R2- Sc all around: 6
R3- 2 sc in each st: 12
R4-R5- Sc all around: 12
R6- [Sc 1, 2 sc in the next st]: 18
R8- (With Red color) [sc 2, 2 sc in the BLO]: 24
R9- Sc all around (both loops again): 24
R10- [Invdec 1, sc 2]: 18
R11- Sc all around: 18
R12- [Invdec 1, sc 1] and Stuff the strawberry!: 12
R13- Invdec all around: 6
Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in the remaining sts to close the center hole. Finish off.
For a regular strawberry, do it all using Red color and on R8 use both loops instead of BLO.
Sc: single crochet; St: stitch; BLO: back loops only; Invdec: invisible decrease; Ch: chain; [ ] repeat all around
Strawberry leaves
R1- (With Green color) Sc 6 on Magic Ring: 6
R2- 2 sc in each st: 12
R3- [In the same st: (sc 1, ch 4, sc 3 in the 2nd ch from hook); Next st: sc 1]
Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in ends. Now, attach the leaves to the strawberry with fabric glue (or sew it if you prefer).
